  1. 2010-04-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  2. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : use List<T> if the contract member
  3. type is interface.
  4. 2010-03-16 Jb Evain <[email protected]>
  5. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs: use MOONLIGHT symbol to
  6. disambiguate MonoTouch and Moonlight code.
  7. 2010-03-13 Kornél Pál <[email protected]>
  8. * JavaScriptReader.cs: Deserialize "false" correctly.
  9. Fixed bug #586712.
  10. 2010-03-10 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  11. * JavaScriptReader.cs : moved from Sys.Json/JsonReader.cs.
  12. 2010-03-10 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  13. * JavaScriptObjectDeserializer.cs : new internal file, which is
  14. used by System.Json (for moonlight compatibility).
  15. 2010-03-09 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  16. * JsonSerializationWriter.cs, JsonSerializationReader.cs,
  17. JsonWriter.cs : Fix DateTime serialization and "\/" string escape
  18. issues. Fixed bug #586169.
  19. 2010-02-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  20. * JsonWriter.cs : write NaN, INF, -INF as JSON string, not JSON number.
  21. Fixed bug #573691.
  22. 2010-01-27 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  23. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : KnownTypes does not include root
  24. type. Fixed bug #573689.
  25. 2010-01-27 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  26. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : oops, wrong fix, should consume the
  27. reader.
  28. 2010-01-27 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  29. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : "null" for string should be read as
  30. null, not String.Empty. Fixed bug #573690.
  31. 2010-01-26 Sebastien Pouliot <[email protected]>
  32. * DataContractJsonSerializer_2_1.cs: Don't hide [Field|Method]
  33. AccessException inside a SerializationException but in a
  34. SecurityException.
  35. 2010-01-25 Sebastien Pouliot <[email protected]>
  36. * DataContractJsonSerializer_2_1.cs: New. Simpler version for
  37. Moonlight since it does not inherit from the same base type nor
  38. does it overrides any base methods.
  39. 2010-01-08 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  40. * TypeMap.cs : forward port r145077 (see change line for 2009-10-29).
  41. 2009-12-14 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  42. * TypeMap.cs : handle [Serializable] objects such as KeyValuePair<,>
  43. like we do in 2.0. Removed previous workarounds. (Do not serialize
  44. and deserialize nonpublic members in "default" mappings.)
  45. 2009-12-11 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  46. * TypeMap.cs (CreateDefaultTypeMap): only include non-public
  47. property info when dealing with KeyValuePair<,>. This is *not*
  48. the way MS handles it, but we emulate things much better with this
  49. hack.
  50. 2009-12-11 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  51. * JsonReader.cs : e- and e+ was resulting in wrong parse error.
  52. This should fix part of bug #531904.
  53. 2009-12-08 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  54. * JsonSerializationReader.cs (DeserializeGenericCollection): in
  55. the 2.1 case we still need to convert the List<> to an array.
  56. 2009-12-07 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  57. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs (CreateJsonReader): pass null for the
  58. encoding parameter instead of calling Detect. The jsonreader's
  59. PushbackReader will autodetect.
  60. (Detect): remove. a BufferedStream created from an unseekable
  61. stream is itself unseekable, which makes it just as useless. This
  62. breaks netflix's isostore file parsing.
  63. * JsonReader.cs (PushbackReader): add a ctor which doesn't take an
  64. encoding, for the autodetecting reader case. for this ctor, pass
  65. true to StreamReader's ctor for detectEncodingFromByteOrderMarks.
  66. 2009-12-06 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  67. * JsonSerializationReader.cs (DeserializeGenericCollection): this
  68. is jb's (iirc) patch, actually. Types subclassing from
  69. ICollection<T> need to be supported, and since it's an interface
  70. the implementation might be explicit. So instead of groveling
  71. around in the actual type, we need to dispatch through the
  72. interface's method.
  73. * TypeMap.cs (CreateDefaultTypeMap): we need to include non-public
  74. properties, since KeyValuePair items must be able to write to Key
  75. and Value properties.
  76. * JsonReader.cs (ReadContent): for builtin values (null, true,
  77. false), use TryReadString instead of individual ReadChar's, since
  78. they aren't reversible if the string didn't match. In the default
  79. case, if we're LameSilverlightLiseralParser, we need to push back
  80. the current character onto the stream -- this is because for
  81. netflix's AppConfig.json we were parsing "frameRatePolicy" as
  82. "rameRatePolicy" (the 'f' was triggering the "false" parsing).
  83. (class PushBackReader): add this class to unify all the pushing
  84. back of characters we need to do. 1 character (JsonReader's old
  85. "saved_char") isn't enough given that you could have a property
  86. named, e.g., "falsifiable", and we'd need 4 characters worth of
  87. pushback to recognize that correctly.
  88. 2009-11-20 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  89. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, JsonReader.cs : Silverlight uses
  90. LAME parser that allows object member name as *raw* string
  91. without double-quotes. (This also reverts the previous change.)
  92. 2009-11-12 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  93. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : reuse generic collection search
  94. logic in KnownTypeCollection.cs. Fixed bug #551671.
  95. 2009-10-30 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  96. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs: SL accepts keys without "", so tweak
  97. the data to fix the quotes before passing it to the deserializer
  98. 2009-10-29 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  99. * TypeMap.cs (Deserialize): use
  100. FormatterServices.GetUninitializedObject instead of
  101. Activator.CreateInstance, since we shouldn't be invoking the
  102. default ctor.
  103. (forward ported to trunk on 2010-01-08 by atsushi)
  104. 2009-10-23 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  105. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs
  106. TypeMap.cs
  107. JsonSerializationReader.cs : add experimental monotouch build.
  108. 2009-10-08 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  109. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, JsonSerializationWriter.cs:
  110. alwaysEmitTypeInformation is false by default. It is for __type
  111. attribute, not for type attribute. __type name is always with ":#".
  112. * TypeMap.cs : sort members in default typemap (it is ordered).
  113. Uncomment EmitDefaultValue.
  114. * JsonWriter.cs : handle "null" string (it is somewhat messy).
  115. 2009-10-05 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  116. * JsonReader.cs : copy string literal parser from System.Json.
  117. 2009-09-22 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  118. * JsonSerializationWriter.cs : output "type" attribute on bool
  119. values too.
  120. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : type loading attempt was insufficient
  121. and hence often missed indicated types to deserialize.
  122. 2009-09-15 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  123. * JsonWriter.cs : use Stream as its output directly and avoid
  124. extraneous preamble output. Fix interop with .NET.
  125. 2009-09-07 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  126. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs : check null stream (fix test failure).
  127. 2009-03-13 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  128. * JsonReader.cs: fix depth calculation
  129. 2009-03-12 Geoff Norton <[email protected]>
  130. * TypeMap.cs: Avoid checking the getter/setter information until after
  131. checking if we have the required attribute decorated.
  132. 2009-03-12 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  133. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs: try to auto-detect encoding for streams
  134. without BOM
  135. 2009-03-02 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  136. * JsonReader.cs: 2.1 has HasValue.
  137. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  138. * JsonReader.cs : show invalid input character in the error
  139. message.
  140. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  141. * TypeMap.cs : in 2.1 do not use non-2.1 CreateInstance().
  142. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  143. * TypeMap.cs : allow get-only collections. Note that they are not
  144. always deserializable (in .NET either).
  145. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  146. * TypeMap.cs : DataContractJsonSerializer in RTM does not seem to
  147. reject contract-less types. So populate map for public members.
  148. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : close XmlWriter to flush stream
  149. (and it closes the stream by default).
  150. 2009-02-02 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  151. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : Use 2.1 "approved" calls for Enum.Parse
  152. and Convert.ChangeType
  153. 2008-02-18 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  154. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : IsStartObject() could raise
  155. an arbitrary exception, so wrap it inside try-catch too to enclose
  156. with SerializationException.
  157. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : support DBNull.
  158. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  159. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : fixed .ctor(type, knonwTypes) that
  160. missed to delegate knownTypes correctly.
  161. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : consider KnownTypes correctly.
  162. Take "__type" fully into consideration, not just for arrays.
  163. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  164. * JsonReader.cs : GetAttribute() was not still missing support for
  165. __type.
  166. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  167. * JsonReader.cs : now __type is fully supported in every methods and
  168. properties in correct shape.
  169. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  170. * JsonReader.cs : Do not consume "__type" (which is the first content
  171. of an object) as an element content. It must be handled as an
  172. attribute (it needs more changes).
  173. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  174. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : when deserializing primitive strings,
  175. make use of "type" attribute (they are supposed to exist).
  176. Output source reader location if available.
  177. * JsonReader.cs : implement IXmlLineInfo.
  178. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  179. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : new, for JSON deserialization support.
  180. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, TypeMap.cs :
  181. basic support for deserialization.
  182. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  183. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs,
  184. TypeMap.cs,
  185. JsonSerializationWriter.cs : split the first to those three files.
  186. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  187. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : Uri and Guid are serialized as
  188. string. XmlQualifiedName is serialized as local:ns.
  189. 2008-01-22 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  190. * JsonWriter.cs : allow __type attribute. It required couple of
  191. changes all around the class.
  192. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : implemented large part of
  193. serialization support (deserialization is not done yet).
  194. 2007-12-05 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  195. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs :
  196. moved from System.Runtime.Serialization and changed the namespace.
  197. * JsonReader.cs, JsonWriter.cs, JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs,
  198. IXmlJsonReaderInitializer.cs, IXmlJsonWriterInitializer.cs :
  199. moved from System.Xml and changed the namespace.
