  1. 2010-01-08 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  2. * TypeMap.cs : forward port r145077 (see change line for 2009-10-29).
  3. 2009-12-14 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  4. * TypeMap.cs : handle [Serializable] objects such as KeyValuePair<,>
  5. like we do in 2.0. Removed previous workarounds. (Do not serialize
  6. and deserialize nonpublic members in "default" mappings.)
  7. 2009-12-11 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  8. * TypeMap.cs (CreateDefaultTypeMap): only include non-public
  9. property info when dealing with KeyValuePair<,>. This is *not*
  10. the way MS handles it, but we emulate things much better with this
  11. hack.
  12. 2009-12-11 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  13. * JsonReader.cs : e- and e+ was resulting in wrong parse error.
  14. This should fix part of bug #531904.
  15. 2009-12-08 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  16. * JsonSerializationReader.cs (DeserializeGenericCollection): in
  17. the 2.1 case we still need to convert the List<> to an array.
  18. 2009-12-07 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  19. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs (CreateJsonReader): pass null for the
  20. encoding parameter instead of calling Detect. The jsonreader's
  21. PushbackReader will autodetect.
  22. (Detect): remove. a BufferedStream created from an unseekable
  23. stream is itself unseekable, which makes it just as useless. This
  24. breaks netflix's isostore file parsing.
  25. * JsonReader.cs (PushbackReader): add a ctor which doesn't take an
  26. encoding, for the autodetecting reader case. for this ctor, pass
  27. true to StreamReader's ctor for detectEncodingFromByteOrderMarks.
  28. 2009-12-06 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  29. * JsonSerializationReader.cs (DeserializeGenericCollection): this
  30. is jb's (iirc) patch, actually. Types subclassing from
  31. ICollection<T> need to be supported, and since it's an interface
  32. the implementation might be explicit. So instead of groveling
  33. around in the actual type, we need to dispatch through the
  34. interface's method.
  35. * TypeMap.cs (CreateDefaultTypeMap): we need to include non-public
  36. properties, since KeyValuePair items must be able to write to Key
  37. and Value properties.
  38. * JsonReader.cs (ReadContent): for builtin values (null, true,
  39. false), use TryReadString instead of individual ReadChar's, since
  40. they aren't reversible if the string didn't match. In the default
  41. case, if we're LameSilverlightLiseralParser, we need to push back
  42. the current character onto the stream -- this is because for
  43. netflix's AppConfig.json we were parsing "frameRatePolicy" as
  44. "rameRatePolicy" (the 'f' was triggering the "false" parsing).
  45. (class PushBackReader): add this class to unify all the pushing
  46. back of characters we need to do. 1 character (JsonReader's old
  47. "saved_char") isn't enough given that you could have a property
  48. named, e.g., "falsifiable", and we'd need 4 characters worth of
  49. pushback to recognize that correctly.
  50. 2009-11-20 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  51. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, JsonReader.cs : Silverlight uses
  52. LAME parser that allows object member name as *raw* string
  53. without double-quotes. (This also reverts the previous change.)
  54. 2009-11-12 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  55. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : reuse generic collection search
  56. logic in KnownTypeCollection.cs. Fixed bug #551671.
  57. 2009-10-30 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  58. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs: SL accepts keys without "", so tweak
  59. the data to fix the quotes before passing it to the deserializer
  60. 2009-10-29 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  61. * TypeMap.cs (Deserialize): use
  62. FormatterServices.GetUninitializedObject instead of
  63. Activator.CreateInstance, since we shouldn't be invoking the
  64. default ctor.
  65. (forward ported to trunk on 2010-01-08 by atsushi)
  66. 2009-10-23 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  67. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs
  68. TypeMap.cs
  69. JsonSerializationReader.cs : add experimental monotouch build.
  70. 2009-10-08 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  71. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, JsonSerializationWriter.cs:
  72. alwaysEmitTypeInformation is false by default. It is for __type
  73. attribute, not for type attribute. __type name is always with ":#".
  74. * TypeMap.cs : sort members in default typemap (it is ordered).
  75. Uncomment EmitDefaultValue.
  76. * JsonWriter.cs : handle "null" string (it is somewhat messy).
  77. 2009-10-05 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  78. * JsonReader.cs : copy string literal parser from System.Json.
  79. 2009-09-22 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  80. * JsonSerializationWriter.cs : output "type" attribute on bool
  81. values too.
  82. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : type loading attempt was insufficient
  83. and hence often missed indicated types to deserialize.
  84. 2009-09-15 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  85. * JsonWriter.cs : use Stream as its output directly and avoid
  86. extraneous preamble output. Fix interop with .NET.
  87. 2009-09-07 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  88. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs : check null stream (fix test failure).
  89. 2009-03-13 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  90. * JsonReader.cs: fix depth calculation
  91. 2009-03-12 Geoff Norton <[email protected]>
  92. * TypeMap.cs: Avoid checking the getter/setter information until after
  93. checking if we have the required attribute decorated.
  94. 2009-03-12 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  95. * JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs: try to auto-detect encoding for streams
  96. without BOM
  97. 2009-03-02 Chris Toshok <[email protected]>
  98. * JsonReader.cs: 2.1 has HasValue.
  99. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  100. * JsonReader.cs : show invalid input character in the error
  101. message.
  102. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  103. * TypeMap.cs : in 2.1 do not use non-2.1 CreateInstance().
  104. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  105. * TypeMap.cs : allow get-only collections. Note that they are not
  106. always deserializable (in .NET either).
  107. 2009-02-02 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  108. * TypeMap.cs : DataContractJsonSerializer in RTM does not seem to
  109. reject contract-less types. So populate map for public members.
  110. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : close XmlWriter to flush stream
  111. (and it closes the stream by default).
  112. 2009-02-02 Andreia Gaita <[email protected]>
  113. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : Use 2.1 "approved" calls for Enum.Parse
  114. and Convert.ChangeType
  115. 2008-02-18 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  116. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : IsStartObject() could raise
  117. an arbitrary exception, so wrap it inside try-catch too to enclose
  118. with SerializationException.
  119. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : support DBNull.
  120. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  121. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : fixed .ctor(type, knonwTypes) that
  122. missed to delegate knownTypes correctly.
  123. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : consider KnownTypes correctly.
  124. Take "__type" fully into consideration, not just for arrays.
  125. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  126. * JsonReader.cs : GetAttribute() was not still missing support for
  127. __type.
  128. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  129. * JsonReader.cs : now __type is fully supported in every methods and
  130. properties in correct shape.
  131. 2008-01-30 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  132. * JsonReader.cs : Do not consume "__type" (which is the first content
  133. of an object) as an element content. It must be handled as an
  134. attribute (it needs more changes).
  135. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  136. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : when deserializing primitive strings,
  137. make use of "type" attribute (they are supposed to exist).
  138. Output source reader location if available.
  139. * JsonReader.cs : implement IXmlLineInfo.
  140. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  141. * JsonSerializationReader.cs : new, for JSON deserialization support.
  142. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs, TypeMap.cs :
  143. basic support for deserialization.
  144. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  145. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs,
  146. TypeMap.cs,
  147. JsonSerializationWriter.cs : split the first to those three files.
  148. 2008-01-24 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  149. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : Uri and Guid are serialized as
  150. string. XmlQualifiedName is serialized as local:ns.
  151. 2008-01-22 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  152. * JsonWriter.cs : allow __type attribute. It required couple of
  153. changes all around the class.
  154. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs : implemented large part of
  155. serialization support (deserialization is not done yet).
  156. 2007-12-05 Atsushi Enomoto <[email protected]>
  157. * DataContractJsonSerializer.cs :
  158. moved from System.Runtime.Serialization and changed the namespace.
  159. * JsonReader.cs, JsonWriter.cs, JsonReaderWriterFactory.cs,
  160. IXmlJsonReaderInitializer.cs, IXmlJsonWriterInitializer.cs :
  161. moved from System.Xml and changed the namespace.
