  1385. temporary stopgap, you may define temp-hpr-fix 0 in your prc file.

  1455. * GeomNodes now have a CollideMask, just like CollisionNodes, which

  1457. collisions with visible geometry. There is a new NodePath
  1458. interface for querying and setting the collide masks for single
  1459. nodes or for entire subgraphs.
  1460. * New NodePath interfaces to control lighting eliminate the need to
  1461. create an explicit LightAttrib. The new lighting interfaces are
  1462. designed to be similar to the new multitexture interfaces.

  1637. indicates the position of a soft hyphen when wordwrap mode is in
  1638. effect. The character \4 (ASCII 0x04) serves as a hyphenless
  1639. invisible break point.
  1640. * A default font is compiled in even if the FreeType library is not
  1641. available.
  1642. * pnmtext library added for rendering text directly into an image.
  1643. * New egg-mkfont utility uses FreeType to generate static font
  1644. models that Panda clients without FreeType can use to render text.
  1645. Collision and physics system:
  1646. * More robust collision interface, supporting NodePaths properly so
  1647. that collisions detected into (and from) particular instances of
  1648. nodes can be differentiated. CollisionEntry has a much simpler
  1649. mechanism for getting the intersection point and normal in an
  1650. arbitrary coordinate space defined by a NodePath, instead of the
  1651. user having to convert the coordinate space by hand.
  1652. * New CollisionVisualizer object to visually show collisions as they
  1653. are tested and detected, useful for optimizing collision
  1654. performance. Activate this with
  1655. base.cTrav.showCollisions(render).
  1656. * Implicit velocity system is now integrated with scene graph; the
  1657. relative velocity of moving nodes is automatically considered when
  1658. testing for most kinds of collisions. Use
  1659. NodePath::set_fluid_pos() to indicate that a node is moving
